Advice Needed Please

Can anyone help me with some information/advice please? sad.gif

I am 'new' to Thailand and to its culture.

My girlfriend has entered one of the Bangkok monasteries for 2 weeks. She tells me that I am allowed to visit between 1pm and 2pm. If I go to visit her:

1. can I take her some of her favourite foods to eat?

2. can I take her flowers or any other similar gift?

3. Should I wear white?

4. I assume I should not engage in any conversation with her that is flirtatious. Is that correct?

5. are there and other things I ought to be aware of during the visit?

6. Should I take something to donate to the temple? If so, what?

Thanking you in anticipation.

I talked to my Thai family

Do not bring food. They cannot eat after 1200 noon

Flower ok

Wear long pants shirt -not a lot of colors

Normal conversation-not allowed alone. Respect her environment.

She is going to practice-Maybe daily visits not necessary-but that is between her and you

Yes donate to temple.

Hope this heps

Thank you for your help. I visited her today. It felt quite strange as I knew I had to behave in a particular way but I was dying to hold her!!! She had a friend/colleague with her and I saw her for only 10 minutes. She did call later though and sounded a bit more 'normal'. What an experience!!

Thank you again for your help smile.gif
