billd766 26,137
The Royal Project only seems to have a shop in BKK or one in Chiang Mai. Sadly I live about halfway between them and for me it means a very long day, 800 km return or an overnight stop which put the price up a large amount.
Dexlowe 4,468
^^^ We have one here in Pattaya, Bill, so there's no need for you to go to Chiang Mai.

Popular Post villagefarang 15,790
I received sixty votes in the 2016 poster of the year competition. We have adopted a new stray cat which we plan to nurse back to health. We are both in good health and enjoying the cooler temperatures. Life goes on and we are looking forward to an interesting 2017. Happy New Year to everyone.
sceadugenga 3,040
Certainly cool today, took a drive down to the new Doi Chang Coffee at the White Temple, both there and Boon Rawd Park were VERY busy. Everyone in their warm clothes. There's a second cafe behind the one on the main street that's quite cozy. Friendly staff and nice small foods. Two episodes of The Grand Tour available this weekend....
sceadugenga 3,040
A large bag of Jerusalem Artichokes turned up at the house today... "for the soup". I confiscated a couple of the larger ones and roasted them with some potatoes. Very nice.

Popular Post sceadugenga 3,040
Anyone looking for a fruit treat should go to the back of the main market for the small black seedless grapes at 80B a kilo. Delicious.
sceadugenga 3,040
Som-O season is upon us, pull up at a little roadside stall and pick up a few at 20-30 baht each. Grab a couple of packs already cut to nibble on while the Mrs peels the whole fruit.
sceadugenga 3,040
I don't think I've seen it in such abundance, stocked up at the market yesterday and also bought a kilo of the small dark seedless grapes for 80B. Fruit heaven at the moment.

kevvy 2,272
I have noticed that tops supermarket have a big selection of cheese now . I especially like theJarlsberg sliced cheese . They also had very good salami from France . Went back a few says later and the salami was gone . Just waiting now till they get it in again . It seems Tops get product in and when its gone , you have to wait quite for them to get it in again.
