podgey
i plan on traveling to bangkok tommorow and i was wondering how most people go about getting in there from the south east? I expect to be staying for a couple days and i have to get there by early morning.I have driven myself on other occations with a GPS but that does not always get perfect results and i could do without the stress of traffic jams and parking. Is it a good idea to drive to the new airport and then bus it to a metro station?
Soutpeel
Driving is the best way with or without a GPS..... If you are coming in early morning than traffic jams are not an issue, its an easy run You didnt where you are going, so cant comment on the parking Once the train is fully functioning from the airport to BKK, parking there may be an option, I would try dependent on where I am trying to get to, but not at the moment
podgey
Yeah i ended up driving and did'nt do too bad, i am finding my driving style is adapting to bangkok traffic. I'm gonna be a menace whenever i go back home to oz though. The gps had a few blonde moments but otherwise got us where we needed to go. Cheers
