THAILIBAN
this is actually an old hat, it has been announced virtually everywhere and started almost 3 months ago already.....
tombkk
this is actually an old hat, it has been announced virtually everywhere and started almost 3 months ago already..... No, it isn't an old hat. I read about it today and was thinking of posting it here, but I see that Cuchulainn was faster. I understand this new regulation has been in place only recently (another source says since 01 July), so it is good to make it known. Three questions to Cuchulainn: 1. l. Individual visitor or tourist must have at least USD 300 CASH as evidence of sufficient funds. It sounds like we have to have US$ 300 in cash with us. Will credit cards be accepted instead? 2. Is there a compulsory amount of US$ that we have to convert into local currency? 3. p. Visa forms are available on arrival from all airlines landing in Myanmar; or applicants can apply for a visa online before their arrival. Please advise the URL for applying for the visa over the internet.
