JimSiam
I have been told by my bank that Thai Law won't allow Thai Banks to lend money only to purchase land, is this right? We only want to borrow 50% for the land and the loan can be in a Thai name.
Farma
I know a Thai who bought chanote land with a 70% bank loan from KTB late last year. The loan was approved on that persons income and no farang involvement. The bank stated they were happy to lend for land in that district as there were no other land loans and they wanted to increase their presence in the area.
