webfact
Power pole pins car to Phuket hillside However strange the final result, the crash could have been far worse for the driver, who escaped uninjured. PHUKET: -- A young driver, caught off-guard by the slippery roads brought on by pre-dawn deluges this morning, lost control of the Nissan NV he was between Chalong and Kata. The vehicle slid up an embankment, coming to rest wedged between the embankment and a power pole, pinning the driver’s door shut. Amazingly, the driver suffered no injuries in the accident and managed to get out of the wreck unassisted. -- Phuket Gazette 2010-09-

You clearly have never had a Nissan NV, these vehicles are so light in the rear that it takes very little for it to brake away.
