george
We are today introducing World News on Thaivisa. Selected Hot stories and Breaking News from around the world to keep you informed about the world outside Thailand. This news feed subforum is updated automatically in real-time, and is currently in BETA. We are working with several news sources, initially we will publish news content produced by BNO News (bnonews.com). More sources will be added later on. Your feedback is welcome! gburns57au
Noticed multiple posts on the same story, Is there a way to avoid this?
spud1
Does world news mean the USA.
george
See this as a Live Newsfeed, sometimes a story changes and is updated with new facts, and it will be some duplicates. We'll shortly trim the feed so it will show less of US National/US State news items. This project is a work in progress (BETA) so your input is valuable. Thanks for the feedback so far! Jingthing
More traffic to the site, why not, if people find it of interest, it couldn't hurt ... It does kind of dilute the Thailand only "rules" though, eh?
soundman
Excellent less need for me scouring the web My opinion as well.

SergeiY
BNO News is committed to providing news content at the lowest price available. Our policy is: if you find a lower rate, we'll match it. http://www.bnonews.com/ BNO News provides content to mainly local media in the United States. BNO News’ mission is to provide fast, unbiased quality content to newspapers, television stations, radio stations, and any other media in the United States. http://bnonews.com/about/ peanuts & monkeys come to my mind. And looks like its all that what is considered as 'world news' by Americans for an American audience. Probably actually just content spam to please some search engine robot spider. But hey its still a good idea but definitely needs some human being who does the selection of the news and not just a software programm doing it and it needs a mixture of news from different content providers all over the world. Funny would be to get a daily review what kind of international news made it into the Thai language news media. So us foreigners can get an idea how the world is seen according to Thai news. Tigs
George It's a great idea and a great addition to the forum, it may need a little tweaking in the future, but as you said it is in beta. I for one am grateful you added it.
george
Thanks for the feedback so far! We are still tweaking, and the local US news is now set to lower priority, as our goal is "World News"
