News_Editor Posted October 13, 2010 Share Posted October 13, 2010 Moderate earthquake rocks central Oklahoma 2010-10-13 21:27:37 GMT+7 (ICT) OKLAHOMA CITY (BNO NEWS) -- A moderate earthquake struck central Oklahoma on early Wednesday morning, seismologists and residents said. The 4.5-magnitude earthquake at 9.06 a.m. CDT (1406 GMT) was centered approximately 6 miles (10 kilometers) east of Norman, a city in Cleveland County. It struck about 3.1 miles (5 kilometers) deep, making it a very shallow earthquake, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
