News_Editor Posted December 6, 2010 Share Posted December 6, 2010 Report: Blasts kill at least 50 people in northwest Pakistan 2010-12-06 17:41:54 GMT+7 (ICT) KARACHI (BNO NEWS) -- At least 50 people were killed on Monday when a pair of explosions ripped through a government building in northwestern Pakistan, local media reported. The blasts happened inside the Political Aghent's office, the office of a senior government official, in the Mohmand tribal region near the Pakistan-Afghan border. Ary News television reported that at least 50 people had been killed in the explosion, while more than 120 people were said to be injured. State-run media reported a death toll of 40, but said it was expected to rise. Local media reported that the blasts happened when tribal elders and local administration officials were in a meeting.
