Tim
I have just attempted to get a Retirement Visa from the Thai Consulate in London. turned up with everything as posted on the WWW page. I have more than sufficient funds to meet the rewquirements. Have no Thailand Bank account because no Visa have been using Tourist Visa. I was turned away and given an enormous list of requirments, and explained I needed to get all the documents I had brought Bank statements proof of income etc, Notorised etc etc. I am off to Hong Kong at the end of March for the Sevens, what about applying in Hong Kong for my first non-imigrant O , Can any-one tell me what I need paper wise and what the situ is like. ? dr_Pat_Pong
The Thai Embassy in London is singularly unhelpful and you will find the RTCG in Hongkong very similar. Apply for a multi entry Non - Immigrant visa at any of the Thai Consulates in the UK. They are all considered realistic. Look at the Embassy website www.thaiinuk.com for the addresses of the offices
