george Posted December 11, 2003 Share Posted December 11, 2003 American dies in 12-floor plunge An American died in a plunge from a high-rise building in Suan Luang district, police said yesterday. The body of Michael Steven White, 47, of the United States was found in the parking lot of the Sky Place building on Sri Nakarin road yesterday afternoon. Police say he jumped from the 12th floor and his body struck the roof of the parking lot before falling to the ground. kwiz117 Posted December 12, 2003 Share Posted December 12, 2003 I always advice people not to rent higher floors. You may get this feeling to jump and then will not have any chances to regret. So always rent a condo in the first floor. So you have a chance of surviving after breaking the neck and backbone. parryhandy Posted December 12, 2003 Share Posted December 12, 2003 hmm to many farang "jumpers" in Thailand if i was a cynical person id say it would be a convenient way of disposing of somebody.No doubt the police will do exhaustive research into his state of mind or whether he had any disagreements with anybody before this occured so not worry.
