News_Editor Posted January 12, 2011 Share Posted January 12, 2011 Actor David Nelson dies at age 74 2011-01-13 00:00:15 GMT+7 (ICT) LOS ANGELES (BNO NEWS) -- Actor David Nelson, the last surviving cast member of the 1950s and 60s 'The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet', on Tuesday passed away after a long battle with colon cancer, a family spokesman confirmed. He was 74. The Los Angeles Times reported that Nelson, of New York City, died at his Century City, California home. In the famous 'The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet' TV show, Nelson starred alongside his mother, father and brother. Nelson, who has been immortalized with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, had his last film appearance in the 1990's teen musical film 'Cry-Baby,' which stars Johnny Depp. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne; his sons John, Eric, James and Danny; daughter Teri; and seven grandchildren.
