News_Editor Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 Small plane crash in Chesapeake, Ohio injures 2 2011-01-31 08:06:06 GMT+7 (ICT) CHESAPEAKE, OHIO (BNO NEWS) -- A small airplane on Sunday crashed near the Lawrence County Airport in Chesapeake, Ohio, injuring the pilot and a passenger, local media reported. At around 1:50 p.m. local time, the small aircraft, which was carrying Scott Bell, the pilot, and Carla Bell, the passenger, both 48, crashed down as it was heading westbound, the Herald Dispatch reported. Both were transported to St. Mary's Medical Center after the crash and were reported to have suffered only minor injuries. They were also reportedly conscious following the incident. An explanation was given in an other thread: I guess until China is fully installed as the most powerful country in the world, global news is going to be somewhat USA-centric.
