(=the street that is a walking street on Sundays - the extension of Tha Phae Rd. running towards Doi Suthep after Tha Phae Gate) have beginner's courses in the Thai language. You could also contact Phayap University (but it would be a bit of a hassle for you to get there given your stated location).
