Webster University Thailand (WUT) has been chosen as one of its five compulsory education centres for the much coveted Global Master of Business Administration programme among its nine world-wide campuses.

The Global MBA programme of Webster University USA, is a unique eleven month programme where students study at five top campuses of Webster around the world - Leiden in the Netherlands; Geneva, Switzerland; Vienna, Austria; Shanghai, China; and Bangkok.

The students live and study in these campuses in five countries for nine weeks, before graduating from the St Louis campus in the US.

Webster's business programmes are all accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programmes, which guarantees high standards and world class education.

"I am happy that Webster University Thailand was selected to be an education centre for the Global MBA. It is indeed a very proud and significant milestone for Thai higher education," said WUT Rector Ratish Thakur.

WUT has passed the criteria to select campuses to be an education centre for Webster's Global MBA, which include: outstanding academic quality and learning resources; quality of local professors; and location in a global hotspot of business and economics.

Thakur said Global MBA at WUT marked Thailand as one |of the top education centres in the world with a nod to Thailand's continued growth |as an economic and business hub in South East Asia.

Congratulations to Webster. I know a few of the people who work for the school.

I can see the shills are out in force...

Some of the most dishonorable individuals work for this school.

Generally speaking the Thais don't go here.

Yes, Congratulations to this much maligned school. Maybe the influx of study abroad funding can save the school. The director mentioned in the article is the worst yet.

Webster Thailand is not a good business school. There is much cronyism between the Thai and Indian Mafia that run the place.

Who will their faculty be for the global MBA ? They would have to bring in qualified folks to teach ?

Many of the people they have listed as teaching the different classes are not qualified under the ACBSP, which is Webster's accreditor on business.

Caveat Emptor!
