x-pat
Im need a larger quantity of cartons, bubble wrap, foil, adhesive tape in the next few weeks. The stationery departments in the malls charge an arm and a leg for these items. Any idea where you can buy this stuff cheaply in Bangkok? calibanjr.
If you really need a lot of tape, bubble, wrapping paper, etc. it might be worth a trip to Chinatown. Big roll of bubble is 500-600 baht. Tape, cutters, etc. really cheap. Hard to find boxes though, unless you can use 2nd hand. DD
The Skipper
UPS may be able to deliver boxes at reasonable prices. There are a bunch of shipping companies at the beggining of Raum Rudee on the left side. They may have somthing.

The best price for 100 meters roll of bubble wrap is around 300 baht (65 cm large, but you can also buy 130cm large) Everything you need to pack is available there, except boxes maybe, that you can get for free visiting any fedex shop (ask for the 25 kg boxes) (if they don't want to give enough you can also visit ALL the fedex offices, and I guess that Dhl and the others one also do the same) About Fedex, it seems that they deliver the box at your place only if you pack right away and they leave with you boxes to ship.
