News_Editor Posted March 20, 2011 Share Posted March 20, 2011 Israeli forces kill two Palestinians in Gaza 2011-03-21 00:42:26 GMT+7 (ICT) GAZA (BNO NEWS) -- Two Palestinians were killed Saturday night by Israeli forces patrolling the northern Gaza Strip fence. According to Ynetnews, Israel Defense Forces killed two terrorists who were allegedly planning to plant an explosive device near the northern Gaza Strip fence. The news was not confirmed by Palestinian medical sources, Palestine News and Info Agency WAFA reported. Israeli artillery stationed along the border of Gaza bombed east Gaza city and a refugee camp in the middle of the strip in the early hours of Sunday, injuring one Palestinian. The attacks come after nearly 50 mortars were fired from Gaza into southern Israeli communities early Saturday. Two Israelis were injured. The Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas' military wing, claimed responsibility for the mortar attacks, saying in a statement that the shelling came in retaliation to Israeli "crimes and the ongoing air and ground strikes on the Gaza Strip the latest of which targeted and killed two Hamas' fighters." Another couple of hundred for and against posts until it gets closed down. I think I read one poster yesterday in a related thread state that "this is not news because it happens everyday". News would be that they have stopped all this continued killing and are going to the peace table. Now that would be real news. In the context of Israel/Palestine, the majority of Palestinians do favor complete Palestinian nationalism of ALL the lands that are now the Jewish State of Israel. Jews are people, like everyone else, and all people have potential to be racists. It's natural to grow defensive feelings when you grow up in a country with Arab suicide bombers. Many (I guess most) Palestinians also hate the Jews and they also have their rationales. That area of the world is not like living in Kansas. It does not follow that Zionism equals racism; that is a big lie, but like many big lies told so many times, many people fall for it.
