BAGHDAD, IRAQ (BNO NEWS) -- An Iraqi judge was abducted and five people killed on Saturday in three separate attacks in Baghdad, the Aswat al-Iraq news agency reported.

A Baghdad security source said a group of armed men blew up the house of Kadhimiya district's Judge, Tu'ma Jabbar, in north Baghdad, killing a guard and wounding the judge's wife and daughter. The source added that the attackers abducted the judge, but failed to give further details.

An employee in the Ministry of Industry & Minerals and his daughter were also killed by a group of unknown gunmen, who broke into his house. Residents of the area clashed with the attackers after they got out of the house, wounding two of the villagers and killing one of the armed men.

Meanwhile, another unknown armed group killed a police officer in central Baghdad, wounding his wife and children.
