Yes I did. Lots of talks about the organisation, the clients, the successful teachers, a couple drinks, good food and getting-to-know-each other. Anyway, my friend went to a course for new teachers at a school(not by an agency though) It was a bunch of speeches by "VIPs" of the school; but yes, a lot of good food and getting to know each other in between.
