Forethat Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 There's an electrical issue slowly developing into a nightmare on my PJS. It started a while ago when I noticed that the headlights went out as soon as I engaged the indicator (either way). This is no fun when it's pitch black and you're driving at 120km/h... The disease soon spread to the brakes, so when I engage the brakes the headlights and the interior lights (dashboard etc.) goes black. If I switch on the fog lights I get exactly the same problem. If I use the control and first switch the headlights off and then on again the headlights lite up until I brake next time.. Had the car at Mitsubishi this afternoon and they cant find anything wrong. Lickey Posted May 4, 2011 Share Posted May 4, 2011 It sounds like an earthing problem, otherwise to the steering colunm cluster switches, main fuse box, even a bulk head plug fitting, also if you wash your truck often or there has been heavy rain lately, perhaps water has got into some fitting somewhere, unplug a few main componets and look for green mold on contacts,, Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
