he looks practically suicidal most of the time. like he really doesn't like the job any more and doesn't want to be doing it.

Its a repeat of the Chelsea debacle, only difference being he's lost his arrogant sneer and as you say looks rather broken.

His teams all possession, no bite and predictable.  Doesn't know how to set up his best eleven.  He's back to blaming his players

Remind yourselves this was a squad three months ago tipped to challenge for the title.  The manner in which the players have regressed under him must be quite alarming, especially if you think back to his latter Chelsea days.  Under Conte, players like Moses, Hazard and Matic rejuvenated, new system in place working efficiently.  Now take a look at United, listen to his press conferences....its a clusterfcuk.

Shouldn't this be renamed the Mourinho in decline thread.

Saying that i have to agree he is looking very depressed just lately maybe it is living in a hotel instead of having a stable family environment which Ferguson insisted on all of his players before, i think two or three of the players are also in hotels which cannot be good for there football.

The football is up and down at the moment as it is clear he does not know his best team but sometimes it only takes one very good result and the atmosphere at a club changes which is drastically needed with Mourinho at the moment.

Still nobody has won anything yet and still very early doors for him as United's manager,i believe he will turn United around given time and of course money.

He has only managed the club for 16 competitive games in three different competitions and we are still involved in them.

...as Sunderland are still involved in the Premier title race.

Exactly!

Although saying Sunderland are involved in the title race is pushing it don't you think :post-4641-1156693976:

That derby performance confirmed the decline. Never seen such a forced-upon defensive performance from ManU in all my years of watching Derby's.

If that's decline then what does that say about your sand castles blue? You mustered a draw with all that firepower.  The man at the helm there would be welcomed at any ambitious club far and wide and only a numpty would question that and there's plenty of them on this forum. Where we're at and Bangrak nob.

^Nothing wrong with our performance other than we didn't score. You didn't see the game then.

Everything wrong with a performance if you do not score. With your attacking options that's disgraceful.

^Totally disagree. We've all seen games of one team totally attacking and one team totally defending - like the alamo - and often the defending team can't be broken down or has enough luck to survive.

You seem to be growing in to your role of the forum antagonist. ..let's see how long you last before you follow in the footsteps of Mustang56 or whatever he was called...

The irony eh. Bb starts a thread about man utd in decline 12 years ago. Whose the antagonist here then.

Point is if they are in such a decline and your so buoyant how come a single point separates you.

If as it has been suggested that league position and buying power are highly indicative of league position then it could be said you are in decline and completely under delivering. And if you do not hit 4th or higher that's an absolute disaster.

^You do realise don't you that this topic is about 10 years old and in my opinion at the time ManU were doing the unthinkable and beginning to decline. Now compare ManU of the past few seasons and 2006 era when this topic started and there's no doubt ManU have declined. Yes they are just behind us but this topic is about ManU decline not City's decline.

Try adding something interesting or positive will ya, maybe on your beloved Liverpool forum where you seem not to be wanted by the SCOUSE Liverpool fans (it's clear why).
