News_Editor Posted May 23, 2011 Share Posted May 23, 2011 Nearly 90 killed after tornado devastates Missouri town 2011-05-23 17:54:05 GMT+7 (ICT) JOPLIN, MISSOURI (BNO NEWS) -- Nearly 90 people were killed on late Sunday afternoon when a powerful tornado ravaged a Missouri town, officials said on early Monday morning. Joplin City Manager Mark Rohr confirmed at least 89 people had been killed in the disaster, while an unknown number of people were seriously injured.
