(BNO NEWS) -- The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Thursday announced that it has agreed to a commerce and aeronautics cooperation with the Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia. A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed on Thursday between the FAA and Mongolia's Civil Aviation Authority, establishing their intention to develop civil aeronautics and air commerce safety through technical assistance and training. The MOA is the first of its kind between the two countries and marks an opportunity to enhance safety and improve system capacity in Mongolia. With the formal bilateral relationship, the FAA may provide technical and managerial expertise to assist Mongolia in developing, modernizing, operating and maintaining its civil aviation infrastructure, standards, procedures, policies, training and equipment, as well as provide training to personnel from Mongolia. -- © BNO News All rights reserved 2011-06-17 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
