HardenedSoul
Does anyone know where this can be bought in Bangkok. I've tried various branches of Villa and Foodland supermarkets. I also tried the food hall at the Emporium . . . no joy on all counts. I'm hoping that someone knows a specialist bakery or health food outlet that might stock it. TallGuyJohninBKK
I've seen that before in Villas.... Is it actually ground fine enough to be a flour? Or is it just rough ground almonds? I too have never seen any nut flours in Thailand...

butterisbetter
There's also Heritage Brand almond flour. I'm surprised it's not for sale in Villa Supermarket. It's packed in nitrogen so it's won't go rancid as long as the seal is intact. That's an important consideration, especially for almond flour. expatsupreme
is it 100% almond? Maybe they bake it and heat it so it is not raw, but almond is expensive anyways
TallGuyJohninBKK
I'm pretty sure I've seen packages of finely ground almond at my local Villa Market. I think Heritage brand. Edited February 21, 2013 by TallGuyJohninBKK
TallGuyJohninBKK
Happened to be in Foodland Suk Soi 5 today... Noticed they have the 250g packages of Heritage almond flour (finely ground almonds) for 150b.
