george
No pets allowed at public parks in Bangkok BANGKOK: -- The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has issued a new regulation, banning pets from all public parks in the city. The ban followed a number of complaints lodged by members of the general public on troubles they had faced in the public parks caused mainly by pets' droppings. "The new regulation is particularly targeted at canines and pupies which were most often brought to the parks by their owners," a BMA source told journalists. "The ban is also aimed at keeping the city's public parks clean for those who want to enjoy their physical exercises and other recreational activities," said the source. --TNA 2005-11-

Tywais
Why don't they ban the 'droppings', allow the dogs to exercise and fine the owner if he doesn't 'poop scoop' after the dog. Another revenue for the government.

That's at least the way it's supposed to work
