AlfredA
Hello, me and my GF. got plans on working in Thai the upcoming summer, my mind is set on Krabi since ive heard the climbing is great! Me myself got experience as a climbing instructor, team-building guide, hike guide, kajak guide, retail clerk, basic hostel worker and a bunch of other jobs, i do also got an education as a airport firefighter. However, my hopes for Thailand do mostly involve the Outdoor guide jobs. My GF. got great experience in various hotel jobs, especially at the front desk. she has also worked in restaurants, both behind the counter and as a waitress. (she do have varius other job experiences to, this was the the first that popped to mind) Anyone know if its possible to get anything just over the summer in our fields? Kind regards //Alfred
taninthai
Unless you are of thai nationality and willing to work for 6-8000 bht a month I don't think you have much chance of finding work
AlfredA
I were actually thinking of more "international" companies, bigger hotels and such, but Krabi are maybe to small for that?
klongmuang
Summer is off season in Krabi and therefore no requirements for tour guides, dive masters, dive instructors, etc., unless on a free lance basis, which might end with no call for weeks. teejaykrabi
I agree with post #2 .....no chance including international companies unless you are management.waitresses front desk are 10 a penny here.you will also require work permits .
