AlexDorneles
I just arrived in Bangkok and I would like to stay for 6 months. Can anyone recommend a building where they do short term rentals? I am looking a furnished 1 bedroom or studio for 3 to 6 months.

pomchop
i have had no problems getting any length of rental at omni over the past few years....they have many different styles and sizes and will rent on daily, weekly, monthly etc....nice thing is they don't require a lease or big deposit... http://bangkokomni.com/
NidNoi
If you can do 6 month lease you can get a furnished studio or 1 bdr in one of the newer condos with hotel style facilities no problem. If you can't get tied down that long, it is getting more and more common to ask condo owners for 3 month lease too, they will be reluctant but can be persuaded to do it. We just found a condo owner at the Ideo Verve right above On Nut market & Bts who (reluctantly) agreed to a 2 month lease and that place (IMHO) beats any serviced apartments in the area for location, facilities and general awesomeness. It did take some persuading though

I bet its pretty modern, since the small builing in front of it (the office or what it is, dunno) was very stylish too. Wanna senn that.
