Mmmmm ... how abut the Tuk Tuk driver who broke the arm of the old french guy trying to park his hired car in the Kata Municipal car park just next to the Tesibaan offices. This was last year. I could think of more but that one just sprung to my mind. // edit it was 2 years ago ... http://www.thaivisa....__fromsearch__1 http://www.thaivisa....__fromsearch__1 Umm ,are you saying the last farang to be assaulted by a Thai, on Phuket, and the Thai was arrested and charged for it was 2 years ago???? Somehow, I doubt that. If you can think of more cases, give me your most recent 2 cases, within 2 years, and I will not post anymore on the topic. It's not impossible (some would say very likely) that the driver never spent a minute in a cell, was never charged for anything and is still driving a karon tuk tuk today... Now that I think about it, I find myself wondering quite often "what will happen to this guy" when I read the numerous articles about criminals released on bail (for petty crimes such as serial rapes, assault, attempt murder, murder, fraud, etc...). But unfortunatly, the thaivisa official but crappy newsource, and the little bit less crappy other newsource that cannot be named for ridiculous reasons, do not seem to do any follow up on their articles, so I am left to wonder if anything at all happens eventually. woody087 Posted March 19, 2012 Share Posted March 19, 2012 Maybe the fin was a complete fool and the Thai lady did nothing wrong.read on Facebook that he was ditched by his 2 fin mates earlier on because he was he was drunk acting the tool and asking for trouble.
