HARVEY BAMFORD Posted March 22, 2003 Share Posted March 22, 2003 HELLO IF A BUSINESS MAN ENTERS THAILAND WITH A ONE YEAR BUSINESS VISA FOR THE PURPOSE OF BUYING AND EXPORTING THAI PRODUCTS, DOES HE NEED A WORK PERMIT. HE WILL NOT BE WORKING FOR ANYONE OR ANY COMPANY AND WILL NOT BE DRAWING A SALARY OR EARNING A WAGE AND HE WILL BE ENTERING AND EXITING THAILAND MULTIPLE TIMES AS BUSINESS DICTATES. Be aware however, that work is work, whether one is paid or not..for instance this includes persons who do volunteer work for Church groups.
