suegha
As it's christmas we tend to eat a lot if mince pies with custard, (and lots of other things with custard) I love custard! My question is, what's the availability of custard in Thailand? I believe custard is a very 'British' thing.
sierra01
It's available in the supermarkets, I've never tried it so don't know what it's like. Not Birds custard though!

suegha
I'm just lazy! In Britain I just buy ready made custard either in can or carton, warm it up and you're ready to go... Edited December 21, 2005 by suegha

leisurely
alternatively you could make your own with egg yolks, cornflour, sugar, milk and vanilla pods

chaiyapoon
Its a bit of pain making custard from scratch. So many things can go wrong if you don't know what you're doing, but if you get it right its wonderfull. My son is a skilled chef in fine dining and his custard is the best I've ever had.
