rishi
Here's an excerpt from some document on the BOI Website (I've omitted the entries irrelevant for my question). <excerpt begin> The following documents must be attached to a Work Permit application: For non-permanent residents: A valid passport containing a Non- Immigrant visa (except for WP 3 applications) For permanent residents: A valid passport, residence permit and alien book (except for WP 3 applications) A recent medical certificate from a first-class licensed physician in Thailand stating that the applicant is not of unsound mind and not suffering from leprosy, acute tuberculosis, elephantiasis, narcotic addiction or habitual alcoholism (except for WP 7 applications). <excerpt end> I'm a bit curious about these terms. Anyone able to shed some light? What is a WP 3 application and a WP 7 application, respectively ? Does any of these have any relevance for someone in my situation? I'm residing i Thailand on a non-imm O, support wife type of visa and about to form a limited co to sponsor my workpermit (managing director + expert). astral
Unless you have any of these diseases, I would not worry about it.
