Apartment Near Mahidol Uni For 3Months

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I'll be going to Mahidol Uni for exchange this coming month, and will be staying for 3 months. I understand that 3 months rental means higher rates, however as I am staying alone and being a student, my budgets are limited.

I'm looking for apartments which is preferably under 6000 baht per month. I understand utilities are not included and some apartments have separated fees like internet, tv etc.

I googled a few and am not sure which would be a better option as their pricing vary from 5000- 7500 per mth

Pitchaya Apartment, Salaya HomePlace, Best Plus Salaya, The Living Salaya, MU Place Salaya, Nunta Place, Tha palm resorts

Would be grateful for any help or guidance !

Thanks :)

I know a cheap and cheerful place within minutes, I'll get the number over the weekend. I had found a really nice place for a friend and will try to dig up the website but it was a year ago.

I notice a fair few teachers eating out around the Taweewattana Canal and also Sai 3 is there any way of contacting the Uni expats?

from 5,500 usually min 6 months - photos are heavily photoshopped the rooms aren't as nice as they appear

also a place next door called The Home which I couldn't find a website for and no one around to ask - will pop back either at an earlier time tomorrow or on a week day as school starts back tomorrow.

600 a day but might do monthly discounts, i can call and ask if you like

The best residence - 3,500 to 10k a month - I couldn't find this one but seems awfuly cheap for what you get!

hey man ! thanks.

managed to get the pricing from them. as its only a 3 month stay, the fees are slightly higher then 6 mths or 1 year.

Palms Resort - No more single room

Nunta Place - Still available 5.5k w/o utilities but with free internet

Best Plus - Still available 6.5k w/o utilities and internet

Salaya International - out of budget

I'm trying to see if anyone stayed in any of them before, as like you said, the photos are photo-shopped for some, so I can make a better decision.

Run Best Place through Google TRANSLATE it has the best facilities and security so may be worth the extra baht. I,ll get the wife to look at the map and try to find it on my way to Chonburi later.
