To all those who joined the efforts in locating Ms. Salvador and in praying for her safety, the Embassy is pleased to inform everyone that according to her immediate relatives, specifically her mother, in the Philippines, Ms.Salvador has returned home and is now safely reunited with them. Kristine Enriquez Salvador, 25, is now safely reunited with her family, Vice-Consul Edgar Badajos said in a statement released Wednesday. But the circumstances surrounding Salvador’s disappearance were not disclosed to the public. If you rule out mental problems, (elderly dementia etc.) 99% of the time these are cases where the person themselves intentionally cuts ties with friends and family for whatever reason.
