Jai Dee
1,000 ITEMS BELONGING TO EARLY-AYUTTHAYA ERA ITEMS FOUND IN PHITSANULOK Items aged 500 years old have been found in Phitsanulok province, and they are believed to have come from the early Ayutthaya period. Officials from the Ministry of Culture have found a large number of arcane items at Chan (จันทร์) Palace in Phitsanulok, during their excavation of a historical site for improvement. Roof tiles, bowls, horse shoes, fishing gears, and more items amounting to about 1,000 pieces were found, mostly in broken condition. The items are a collection of objects from many sites of origin, as several styles have been identified. Also found was a stretch of a wall built from large red bricks that belonged to the palace. All items are being sorted for collection and further study.
