webfact Posted July 10, 2012 Share Posted July 10, 2012 5.1-magnitude earthquake rocks Myanmar's Kachin state BANGKOK, July 10 -- A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar's Kachin state early this morning but there were no reports of casualties, according to the Seismological Bureau, Meteorological Department of Thailand. The Bureau said that the quake occurred at 3.13am. The tremor, at a depth of 40 kilometres, was located in Myanmar's Kachin State, 690 kilometres from Thailand's Mae Fa Luang district of Chiang Rai, it said.
