Old Croc
I'm sad to relate that many years ago we weren't controlled by the fish conservation rules in place today. We put hundreds of kilos of fillets into freezers for many to eat for the next six months or so. This picture is of a days catch of Spangled Emperor from one boat: Limit these days is about 7 fish and it's hard to get them!

Attached is a pic from the internet to indicate size and colouring:
petercallen
Ever thought of using a canvas bag with a few holes in the bottom to drain the water? Or even use something like this? It's threads like this that make my day. Not really suitable for fish up to 100kgs Where do you catch fish larger than 2KG in Pkuket, all the ones i have seen caught the largest would weight 500GM That's wild fish i am talking about
kawapower
The only wild fishing I know of would be BangWad Dam, huge fish there but almost impossible to catch!!
