webfact
Polish tourist found dead in Krabi hotel KRABI, July 12 – A polish tourist was found dead in a hotel room in Thailand’s southern province of Krabi on Thursday. Pol Lt-Col Noppadol Mukda, investigating the incident, said the dead man was identified as Motkowhki Jagakmaciej, 74. There were no wounds on the body but multiple bruises were found on both arms. Medicines for treatment of high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease were found in his room. The body was sent for autopsy at Krabi Hospital to determine the cause of his death. Mr Jagakmaciej checked in with a tour group of about 20 persons at the hotel yesterday. He stayed alone in his room and did not respond to a tour guide, knocking on the door. When the hotel staff opened the door, he was discovered to be dead. Police initially believed he might have died from of a preexisting medical condition. Maejo Man
Medicines for treatment of high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart disease were found in his room. They always have to accentuate the ammount of medication found in a deceased's room. How many posters on this forum take Lipitor and blood pressure tablets? I do for one! A sad way to go alone in a strange room

Konini
"but multiple bruises were found on both arms" - Why? Done by himself?? My mum takes multiple meds for various things including blood pressure - you only have to give her hand a gentle squeeze and she has a bruise the next day. Her arms and legs are always covered in them, she's been that way for the last 1 years or so, gradually getting worse. I don't think that this is too uncommon in the elderly.
