Backwoods
Has anyone ever filleted one and try to fry in nuggets like we do with the channel cats back home in US! I'm not talking about a canal fish , but one from small pay pond?

rufanuf
Pangasius (Pla Sawai,Buk etc) is farmed by the 10s of thousands of tonnes out of SE Asia and sold into Europe and elsewhere as a substitute to ocean fish like cod. Im not sure what they do differently when famring this fish than say for example one out of a pond, but I have ate it many times (you can by small fillets of it in some 7,11s its packaged by CP Foods) and its fine.
