redrus
Adkins is up there too. redrus Yeah Adkins would be a good fit. Bit of a suicidal position though! Don't let TP hear you say that.. redrus I'd like to hear TP's views on Harry Redknapp as a manager right now. Where is TP anyway, not seen him for a while..?? redrus
redrus
He might give it a second glance if offered, but who would want to get involved at the shitty end of the table with only ten nine (or is it eight?) games to go, when you can sit in a nice warm studio with a nice contract that pays the bills and gives you free wardrobe and a platform on which to punt smug analysis at millions around the world. Needs someone desperate, someone who's about to sink into the final stages of alcoholic despair. If not Brucy, what's McCarthy up to these days? thought you were describing bryan robson and peter reid as it goes. Kenneth Dogleash...!! redrus

Just stay away from Russell Slade, some managers want to go upwards

tw25rw
They're talking about Paolo Di Canio going there. I'll be gutted if he does.
nev
Sad scenes as Brian Mcdermott leaves Reading. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=228504220622509&set=a.161349107338021.38618.161113004028298&type=1&theater
Exsexyman
A shame, i thought McDermott was doing a good job given his resources. Manager of the month in January, can't really see anyone else coming in and doing better at this stage of the season. Another young British manager treated like <deleted> by a clueless owner. Don't think Sir John Madjeski would have done this. The new owner, Antonio Zingaravich is the son of this man. http://rumafia.com/person.php?id=204 The fit and proper person test is surely unfit for purpose, you would have thought the lesson would have been learned with the Israeli Gaydamark clan and the debacle at Portsmouth, but no. The Premier League is fast becoming nothing more than a showcase for foreign gangsters to launder money and compare penis lengths. Maybe about time people stopped buying into it and started asking Scudamore a few telling questions, like, How does Tony Fernandes pass a fit and proper test when his company openly bankrolls Premier League referees? How do SOBet pass a fit and proper test for sponsors when they have been implicated in match fixing scandals? There appears to be only two questions that matter to Richard Scudamore regarding the fit and proper person test. !: Do you have lots of money? 2: Can we have some of it?

SantiSuk
I don't see much in that article that would rule that Russian out on 'fit and proper person' grounds. Nothing proven, loads of conjecture and actually, in the context of the Russian Wild West (same as US in its development phase), pretty tame stuff. Big business is corrupt. The West just got better at using more sophisticated means of covering it up.
