Thailand
The first concert went off with out any major hitches, late aircraft take off not withstanding I would think that any of you lucky enough to hear "Tony" Tong Il Han play on the piano supplied by Yamaha would have been more than happy - a fabulous performance in an amazing setting. There is a free concert at Payap university on 22nd Feb and another "ticketed" concert at Banwangtan on Saturday 25th Feb, more world class artistes, Leslie Paranas - cello, James Oliver Buswell -violin and the Ulsan chamber orchestra from Korea will be on show for the first time in Thailand, let alone Chiang Mai. More info: http://www.ChiangmaiMusicFestival.com All proceeds will be going to various Aids foundations in Thailand Edited February 19, 2006 by Thailand
