cm das
Anyone been to the northern motor show that's on at the 700 year complex? Just wondering if it's worth a visit - I've never been to something like this in Chiang Mai before. And can someone tell me what the hours are? Loaded
I went last Sunday. Down the bottom end of the tent are the manufacturers - every now and again a group of well-fit young Thai women get up and dance around a Toyota or Isuzu. It's worth visiting just for these short bursts of excitement. Top end of the tent are the suppliers/servicers - Amnuay Motor Air, MaxPlus etc. (Max Plus has the fittest pgs) plus, for some strange reason, about 4 massage chair retailers. You can try out the massage chairs, so you could do like me: 30 mins massage chair watching the pgs. Outside is a Singa beer garden with music and food stalls. I think 20 baht entrance, but i had a ticket. Don't go out of your way for it but a pleasant and cheap way to spend late afternoon.
Sojourner
Loaded's report about sums it up. No Mercedes and no BMW displays. Opens during the week at 12, weekend at 11. Closes at 9 PM however the band outside and beer will keep flowing after the hall closes. There was an MG TF 1500 on display which made my day.
