XJ650 973
We took a trip passing Mai Ya Viewpoint today. It was not 100% clear sky but still quite a good view. First photo of the quite steep road going up to the viewpoint coming from hw 1174. Second of the Buddha looking out over the valley, third of my wife lighting some incense and candles, the last one a little panorama from the viewpoint. On the way home we did not miss to stop at the Pink Buffalo for lunch! Popular Post XJ650 973
On a trip Monday towards Phu Chi Fah I visited a couple of temples. Some temples are special and I visited Wat Rak Thin Thai that in my eyes is very special. It was so quiet and nice there so I just stood there and enjoyed the special atmosphere for five minutes. I talked to the monk, a very nice man from Bangkok. He spoke perfect English, had been working in Australia for 20 years. When he came back he became a monk ten years ago. After one year in Bangkok he moved up to the north. Link in Google Maps to Wat Rak Thin Thai: https://goo.gl/maps/p35ZocVWjv2JcY1p8 Some photos from this temple. The last one is the view from the temple.
