Just the shadows and light, with perhaps some reflection of color from the sky. If you mean the upper right, that is some sort of bag, probably with rice in it but I am not sure. It looked promising for about 7 or 8 kms then.... Some very bad road through to the village so we came back down through Mae Suey. sceadugenga Posted December 23, 2013 Share Posted December 23, 2013 There's still a huge mud patch at what I call the pine forest but it's started to harden up into deep ruts, a small car could easily scrape bottom. I was in a 4WD Pajero, and to be honest it's off road ability did not impress me, I think my 2WD DMax would have done as well. I would suggest anyone with a ordinary car wanting to see Doi Chaang go up the other side, down the Chiang Mai road (118) and take the WaWi (route 109) turn off. The Doi Chaang turn off does not seem to be signposted but you turn right at the Mae Suai 7km sign The road is ok all the way up with exceptional views. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
