Where has Jingthing gone? This thread used to be about quick reviews of new places to eat, but it now has turned into a British breakfast thread. I miss the old thread.

Still doing delivery food, thank you very much.

Nicky's, Soi Bukhaow. Between the hospital and Tai.

Chose items off the breakfast menu: bacon, egg, sausage, black pud, mushrooms and fried bread, which comprised of 2 enormous slices which were too much for me. That is my only minor gripe. The food was very well cooked and was good quality. Tea was very generous but I still managed an extra cup. Though quite early in the morning the place was busy and is clearly popular.

All staff were polite and pleasant, including the English lady owner.

Price was 190 Baht but good value for me. I will return to try other meals.

Sign in on entry, temp taken and a squirt of hand gel. Sky Sports News on the telly.

Not to my knowledge.

Certainly no pâté anymore.

Taken over by an Australian and a German, I believe.

They kept the staff.

A good sausage is something I have never found in Thailand.

I guess it is all about where a fellow comes from, am sure that the like of Germans will have found some that are similar to their home land.

A few days ago, went to Nadia's, on Soi Bonkot, beside El Greco Greek place.

They open at 8am, open air place, background music, TV on without sound, nice.

I had a fry up, 149B, and have to say, one of the best I have had in and around Pattaya, mainly due to the quality of the ingredients.

And missus was very complimentary of her Thai dish.

Lots of positives, only negative was staff, while pleasant and efficient, just loudmouthed, both having conversation while at opposite ends of the restaurant, this is such a common issue for me in Thailand.

Will return for sure.

That certainly looks good and at a very good price. Only thing missing is a piece of black pud. Then it would be perfect!

Yes indeed, cant remember if black pudding was available as extra or with a different breakfast.

The best black pudding I have had in Pattaya is at Bake and Brew.
