The faecal coliform count in the waters of Phrang nga way above toxic levels this time of year. I recently had some young Swiss girls stay with me. I took them to Supercheap and they purchased mask and snorkel sets for 65 THB. Crap quality for sure...but well suited to the crap snorkelling opportunities that remain around Ao Nang at the tail end of high season.
