SeaVisionBurma
When I first went to Myanmar in the late 90's I was given this same Burmese language course - it was a set of a dozen cassettes and a book. The original author - John Okell - taught Burmese at the School of Oriental and African Studies in London. He recently decided to distribute them for free. There's a webpage here - Burmese By Ear or Essential Myanmar An introductory language course by John OkellNow all of the lessons are available as free MP3 downloads. So for those of you who have been wanting to learn Burmese before or during your travels - Enjoy!! Best SVB
