Crossy
According to the information on Lightrocket it was contributed by the Royal Archives http://beta.lightrocket.com/preview/109081?sid=101&cpos=6 how you actually obtain the 5,265 x 3,668 pixel file is not clear According to this article in the Washington Post http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/06/12/AR2007061200109.html the Royal Archives were to be placed on-line, can't find them though (if it ever actually happened). transam
Can't you use your PC to size it and print it ?

The biggest file I can find is 560x390 pixels (the file in the OP), probably just about OK at A4 size using a decent interpolation program but it's a fairly old and grainy image anyway. kuma
Crossy Thanks for taking the time to reply and for the link, I will try to find out more from them. As to file size, indeed it is the largest file I can find. I do not know of interpolation, do you know of a shop I might be able to approach in Bkk that could try this technique? Crossy
From here:- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Archives_of_Thailand could be useful. The address is National archives of Thailand Tha-Vasukree, Samsen Road, Bangkok, Thailand 10300, Tel. 662- 2821847, Fax. 662-6285172 E-mail [email protected] All about image scaling and interpolation https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_scaling If you have any photo editing software most can do image enlargement using various interpolation routines. Time for a play and experiment with printing the result.
