you can take the girl out of the bar, but not the bar out of the girl………

Getting tired of this now, heard and read it to many times.

My wife worked in a bar when I met her.

We have been together for eight year now and have a fantastic life.

About money, she bring more money to us then I do.

She have been working since day one when she came to Sweden.

We also have a house in Thailand that she build and paid with her own money.

If the belgian man beat his gf, I think he deserve what he get, just hope he survive.

Maybe he learn something.

What no one seems to have noticed in the OP is this:-

[“The victim, Ferdinand Salpdew, had been out drinking with his wife,]

Maybe, once again the evil was alcohol?

Booze allows folk to say stupid things,

it also tends to bring violence to the surface.

Despite the posts about age difference and all that, could this have just been an unfortonate booze fueled event that will be regretted by all concerned?

Beautifully and succinctly put. You would wonder why anyone with such a shallow and presumptuous mind would

choose to betray it publicly. The presumption deserved a repost. If real names were used here, it might stem the flow of imbecilic vitriol. . . and spare us the time of actually reading it. The moderators must be having a cup of tea.

If he was stupid enough to marry a girl 30 years younger than him, he should have expected that she would have a younger boyfriend and him just as an ATM. No sympathy from me.

I'm afraid I'll have to agree. Normally I prefer to keep the cynicism to myself but the news is just full of senior citizen aged farang guys taking up lovers their daughters or even grand-daughter's age and then getting conned, dumped or as in this case almost getting themselves killed. When will they realize that they all suffer from "Adonis Syndrome" or delusions of grandeur when they come to Thailand. Why would a pretty (or maybe even plain) looking girl shack up with someone so much older other then to dig gold. Yes, there are some cases when the age difference is less that love may actually blossom but not with someone 20+ years younger. No doubt we all like sex even into our 70's and who doesn't want to be Hugh Hefner, but be realistic and keep the mindset like what it is, a barter deal. If she breaks any agreement that you can't accept, give her the boot. Once she's done with you, adios, no jealousy, no attachments. An escort for hire might be an easier option. You can have a new one every week.

Exactly, it's called short time, everyone happy

" I had rather be a toad. And live upon the vapor of a dungeon. Than keep a corner in the thing I love. For others' uses. . "

Especially if I am paying for it.

Old Shakespeare always knew how to describe it

I keep my bags near the door, even in my own house, so everyone knows I'm a

moveable feast. I'm not sure if it keeps my doxy on her toes, or just plain old love

and loyalty.. . but a swift exit into the calm of the night beats a bloody confrontation.

If she wants to play, then so will I.

Did this hit a nerve or something? Seems like you are going a bit overboard (!!!) to a relatively benign comment!

So because he was willing to support her and her family he shouldn't expect some loyalty?

Just because you can't handle a women 1/2 your age doesn't mean the rest of us have to sleep with some dog that has had 3 kids to 4 different Thai boy friends and wouldn't be taken by the lowest rice worker in Issan.

To each his own, I am sure he knew what he was doing, she broke the rules he confronted her, probably threatened to withdraw the free money so she stabbed him...FIVE TIMES IN THE CHEST AND ONCE IN THE NECK!!! If that's not blind vindictive rage I don't know what is!!!

I would certainly back down pretty quick with some crazy Thai woman brandishing a knife !!!

Why not just push him out from the balcony if she want him dead?

Suicide and case closed.

Too mush blood and difficult to convince BIB it was self defense when stabbing "the old man" 6 times coffee1.gif

My first wife in Chiang Rai was convinced all Germans were engineers. I tried to tell her it was not the case. One time when we were out on the town we were having this argument and a German came along, and sure enough, he was a bloody engineer. Perhaps she was right.

This why I always kept it on a monetary basis............no muss, no fuss - but now have been in a long term (16 years now) relationship - we were MANFRIEND/girlfriend and after a few years of me telling her I am never getting married again under any circumstances, we became FRIENDS and business partners.........no muss no fuss, no lies, no sneaking around......split it all down the middle. No desire to pro-create, she adopted a couple of kids for herself and they call me Uncle..........Life is good.clap2.gif

Some people have such low opinions of Thai's that they believe they can do what they want... Whether its staff, nannies (reference to another post) or girlfriends...

That prick got what he deserves.... and I am sure the thai lady will get her justice too...

If you want to touch a savage dog, then expect to get bitten....

If you want to stab the hand that feeds you, expect to be homeless....

Better of staying at home an fapping than to get into a relationship... smile.png

No one deserves to be attacked with a deadly weapon, whether a person`s a fool or not.

There is only one reason why a person would use a deadly weapon against people, and that is with intentions to kill them.

My guess is that this woman hated being with this guy, but wanted the security and money attached with this relationship.

I do agree that If you want to touch a savage dog, then expect to get bitten.

Aesop's Fables:

One winter a Farmer found a Snake stiff and frozen with cold. He had compassion on it, and taking it up, placed it to his bosom. The Snake was quickly revived by the warmth, and resuming its natural instincts, bit its benefactor, inflicting on him a mortal wound. "Oh," cried the Farmer with his last breath, "I am rightly served for pitying a scoundrel."

The greatest kindness will not bind the ungrateful.

I can say there some truly lovely girls working at bars and other such places just wishing, just praying for a better life, a chance to do something more and honestly. I congratulate the both of you for success. I also must not be blind to the reality which is the odds/probability/%es are not in your favor at such venues. We are all children of God but reality says the girls work there primarily motivated to get bigger, faster, easier money then they otherwise could earn in non entertainment venues. We all know they typically face family/peer pressure to to this. Some if not may come from broken homes, and/or were abused, have alcohol/drug issues and in addition often have exceptionally little education even by than standards. Cheating and corruption is rampant at all levels of society already. Realistically if put to the test, no bookmaker would place good or even reasonable odds on success by trying to make a relationship within such a demographic.

I don't have the "everyone will fail" attitude, simply what reality suggests. I do not condone beating her up either. In violent crimes alcohol/drug use is a significantly high common denominator in many societies including developed ones.

While the Walloon lies in ICU, the journo happily interviews the cop who repeats verbatim, or possibly with embellishment, the self-serving lies of the knifing woman.

Reprint in newspaper as fact, run the presses. Job done.

I used to hear about angry girlfriends/wives/lovers stabbing people all the time. I made sure never to leave any knives around in the early days of my relationship with my wife. Luckily in the years I have got to know her I have found that she's not the stabbing type. I've never even seen her get truly angry.

She must be poisoning me then because she loves to cook cheesy.gif

don't forget she also STAB HIM THE NECK ! , she was stabbing to kill .....

Impossible to know that, she might have continued stabbing his chest, but the bloke in order to defend himself might have turned over a little, and bent down a little, thus the stabbing knife on target for his chest hit his NECK as a result.

No, he did not deserve what he got, beating is one aspect, knifing is quite another and a deadly one,

she should have tried to avoid him, block him, stop him, and not knife him

The fact that she stabbed him several times is indicative of her mental and social background.
