seabear
I heard it is much quicker than Bangkok. Has anybody done it?
seabear
Yes, I did. As there are no direct flights from Phuket to Hat Yai, I decided to drive down there by car. From Sarasin bridge to Hat Yai, about 6 hrs and 500 km. Good roads. No problem. Next morning I arrived at the Chinese Consulate in Songkhla at 10:00 am. I got the visum at 11:45. Regular Fee: 1'100.--Baht. Urgent Fee:1'200.--Baht. Total: 2'300.-- Baht. No cueuing .Friendly staff. Perfect. I would do it again.
