lomatopo
Good pix, was there for Songkran, and it was pretty wild. When I stay at the Rimpao I usually run in that park in the 5th picture down. I forgot my camera (again), but a friend took a lot of pix.

ray23
Heard about it before, never been but it certainly looks like a good ride for the cool weather Thanks sparked my interest
ray23
You know one of my favorite things about being retired here is the abilty to get on the bike and just go exploring, you don't always find thriving cities but you do find out what the real Thailand or should I say Issan is. You also find honest hard working pwoplw who enjoy being around you for more then your money. But to each his own

Neeranam
Nice pics, I'll have to go there sometime - it's not far from where I work. I was at the dinosaur park north of there and the lake - very nice.
pianoman
You are making our home in Issan look far too good... If everyone knows how nice it is here, we will have to make room for many more Farangs.... Just kidding.... I have lived in Kalasin for about 3 years now and truly love it here... True we have no Lotus, Big C or Makro, but it is just much nicer, quieter, cleaner and much less conjested than most cities of it's size...
